The government had in 2016 decided to close Indian Drugs and
Pharmaceutical Ltd and Rajasthan Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It had
also announced strategic sale of Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd and Bengal
Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Ltd.
