Event Description:

Crimson Toastmasters is a group of people from the Harvard and
Cambridge communities who meet to practice improving their public
speaking skills. Members represent many different areas around Harvard
and Cambridge, but all have the same goal: to learn to effectively
formulate and express ideas in front of an audience. Regardless of
your experience (professional to petrified), we provide a supportive
environment to build speaking skills. During the history of the club,
members have included those who have never spoken publicly to an
active chaplain who speaks to large groups each week. Individual
motivations for joining range from becoming more comfortable giving
presentations at work, preparing for a conference, wanting to be
present ideas at public meetings, honing specific points, or simply
building a skill. Come and see what it's all about at our Open House!
